Why do people have a thing for always calling others ugly?

I mean,I’d say someone was prettier than someone else,or good looking,but never ugly.But dang!everybody else who calls other
people ugly must look pretty darn good.It’s not cute at all to call others ugly,it only makes you look ugly and like a total butthead.
cause there stupid and nobody wants to be ugly so it makes the person feel bad
Some people do it becuase they feel insecure about thereselves so saying that about somebody else makes them feel better.
It annoyes the hell out of me aswell when they do that.

they do it to make themselves feel better! They’re really insecure, and they’re fronting that they’re all that, when they themselves don’t really believe that. If they throw the first insult, other people won’t be making fun of them…is their logic.
usually people who say one is ugly…has low-self esteem….a confident person never uses those words
I agree. Sometimes people say others are ugly so they don’t feel so bad about they way that they look. But it makes them truly ugly on the inside where all the make-up in the world won’t help. Ugliness comes from within and oozes to the outside. Some of the ugliest people I’ve ever met were drop dead gorgeous on the outside, that is until they opened their ugly mouths and let all that venom spew out. Ughh
it makes theme feel good about themeselfs…….it’s genetic i guess
Some people do it to feel better about themselves…and others are just plain mean!
Because they are dumb…they make fun of other people to make themselves feel better.
They are probably just jealous and insecure! I hate stupid dumb idiots who call other people names!!!!!!!UGH.

honestly there is nothing that bothers me more than people (especially girls) calling other girls ugly. (even though ive been guilty of it a few times =( ) like, what kid of satisfaction do you get from that? none, unless you are so jealous and insecure that you have to pick on someone else for the way they LOOK. i can deal with girls calling other girls fake, dumb, slutty, bitchy, mean, etc. because in those cases the girls being talked about have done soemthing to deserve it that usually involved hurting another person. but calling someone ugly just makes me mad. the girl probably did nothing to deserve it and its complettely out of her control (makeup only goes so far) so she resorts to things she can control, like being anorexic or cutting. i just dont understand how people are judgemental in such a vain materialistic sense. I HOPE PEOPLE WHO CALL OTHER PEOPLE UGLY HAVE LEGITIMATELY UGLY KIDS (jk of course =) )
btw im not ugly. ive always considered myself to be kind of pretty..but still..
People do that if they are insecure about themselves sometimes, so making someone else feel “ugly” makes them feel “pretty”, but really, it doesen’t help anyone, it just hurts peoples feelings.
