Madoff ~~ Except for those he wronged, does the gen. public really give a darn about those he wronged?

the people he ‘wronged’ were primarily friends and friends of friends. Some may have lost a lot but most still had some money from other sources. Except for those groups of individuals ~~meaning the little man ~~whose pension or other savings were effected, I simply do not care about the others (his friends)
How do you feel?
I feel terrible for anyone who lost their live savings or any monies to someone who instead of investing their money, took it and lived like a king. It’s just wrong on every level. Many of his victims invested through third parties and didn’t even know they were ‘investing through Madoff’ until it was too late. Such a shame.
It has no bearing on my day to day life, and I truly don’t care.
His prison sentence of 150 years is being reported as I type. His wife is getting to keep 2.2 million. Do I feel sorry for her, or his children? No. (I’m a little mean)
