To be honest i think its the same everywhere you go
Im in the uk and believe me some people here can be so nasty towards you actually its mostly females im not saying every female as you get alot that are so friendly and smile and say hello
I love how Australia is always forgotten.
Are you kidding me??
I have come across some nasty, judgmental UK users on here. It’s not just Americans.
ETA
And because you are assuming there are more rude Americans, you are just as rude and Judgmental.
you are high, aren’t you? people are the same.
well i live in the uk and i think some people here are really nasty and evil, its the same wherever you go. Theres always nice and horrid people!!
I was born in the UK (Britain) and as much as I love it, I find a lot of people there, especially women can be really, really b*tchy.
A lot of people in America are rude and crazy.
I lived in Australia for a year, and most people there are really friendly, but I met rude and VERY judgemental people there too.
I love the people from Cyprus, Greece and Botswana more than I can describe. Those places will always feel like home to me.
But trust me, you will manage to find rude people wherever you go
to be honest Ithink you get all sorts of people everywhere
but I do agree, alot of americans are rude and obnoxious and impatient.
I have travelled to many places. personally I found that Australians were really laid back and friendly people. I loved them so much.
I know there are rude people there too though.. its the same for every country
Perhaps you’ve just never encountered some of the rude British people that do exist!
I do think that as a whole, British people are more reserved, but not necessarily more polite. Sometimes we’re not open and welcoming like a lot of Americans are.
I suppose there are nice/rude/reserved/open people from all countries.
And just for you Australians, you’re lovely too!
I hope you don’t mind me answering this, as I am a UK person, but I think you are seeing only a small section of the UK.
A lot of UK folk are cynical, jaded and don’t seem to care about anyone else’s problems.
I am pleased that you have found the nicer section of our country, but, I have had nice answers from Americans too on here. There are swings and roundabouts to it all.
I think us UK folk find everything amusing, and tend to make it all a big joke, even if their house is falling down and their liver is hanging out of their nose – perhaps Americans take things a bit more literally?
Australia is not forgotten by the way, but I speak as I know, and I don’t know any Australians!
Hmmmmmm well with what i have seen on YA! its the English and Americans.
I suppose your just full of yourselves because your nation is so great that you can spit on the rest of us with a smile on your face.
Its funny when i 1st joined YA! this american girl was such a nasty rasist to me because i live in south africa? And you guys thought we were the biggest racists! I very much doubt it! South African people are actually very decent civilised people, we are kind, help in any way we can.
It only shows you haven’t met enough people from the UK… You’d be shocked!
Wow, talk about stereotyping.
News flash, there are rude people in every culture in every country. There are also nice people in every culture in every country.
EH SCREW YOU!
Edit: Don’t the Aussies just hop around with kangaroos and drink Fosters?
how do you know where anyone is from unless they tell you?
Charlie it’s cause aussies are so darn sweet
There are nice people everywhere and rude people everywhere. I guess that’s just life! Sorry.
I had a man who lived in Europe for 30 years tell me that the Brits were the most polite of all the Europeans. He also told me they were the most unAmerican, as in having animosity against the U.S. than any other Europeans. Although, even though they felt that way, they were still polite.
I had to take his word for it. I found it unbelievable, but I haven’t lived there and perhaps don’t have good knowledge of this.
