How can I get my neighbors dog to stop barking! Any tips?

I just got a new house and my neighbors have this pit-bull whos mean and doesn’t stop barking ever! It is so annoying, even when im sleeping it just keeps barking for no reason, im so sic and tired of it im almost ready to kill the darn thing, any tricks anyone can share to help this dog stop barking. Thanks

But some relaxers from the pet shop, and some raw meat, maybe everytime he sees you, he will know he will be happy afterwards and stops barking.
u have the right to call the police i did and my neighbor had to put his dog inside … he is no longer aloud to be out except for relive itself
It is disturbing the peace. There is nothing that you can legally do to the dog.
I assume that you have tried talking to the neighbor.
Nothing you can physically do, but post a letter to the owner, asking to stop it, if this doesn’t work contact the police.
What i did when i had that same problem,get dog repelent! =)
if i was you i would try to see if you could play with the dogs because when a dog barks it usually means it wants something like a squirrel or a playmate so if you could play with it it might chill and not be so rambunctious
do more research before you buy a house. there isn’t nothing you can do other then complaining to the police. and u can’t kill the dog what ar eyou?
well you and your parents can go next door and say can you make your dog not bark plece.
Most pit bulls respond to a stern voice. Yelling at a dog doesn’t do any good. Try saying “quiet’ or “no” or “no bark” in a low stern voice. Not yelling, but sharp and low. A voice that sounds like it has authority. One to get it’s attention. It takes a strong personality to raise a well trained pit. If it doesn’t respond, then it hasn’t had any proper training. It isn’t the dogs fault. Just like my fake gangsta back yard breeder neighbors. Dogs never shuts up. Tried everything. If talking to them doesn’t work call animal control. And don’t worry of course your other neighbors haven’t heard a thing. Record the noise and take them to court and take their money. They will listen then.
