How can I get affiliates to hear and promote my original folk music?I want it to be heard and make money too.?

I am an original artist that has a very melodic, poetic approach. My lyrics are deep and I play a unique tuning on my acoustic guitar. It’s f#-c#-c#-f#. The D and high-E are removed. What you get is a fifth going down, and a fifth coming up. The texture that this tuning creates is awesome. I would patent the darn thing if I could. I’ve been playing this tuning for over ten years and although I can play a normal six string tuning , this tuning is so much more original sounding for how I write. I play a mean organ too. Right now I play a Hammond s-6. Oh’, I had a B3 and an M3, but I got tired of the flute tone. Hey, you would too if you played it 5 hours a day for 3 or 4 years! Especially if it was your second instrument.
I just know one thing. I have these songs that I sit around and play on my acoustic 4 string tuning that sound great. I’ve even played them out around Columbus, Ohio a few years back , I really don’t care to go out and perform right now, I just want to sell a few.

There is a great cd shop where independent musicians can sell their music. It’s called CdBaby. Might be worth checking out.
