Could it be possible the Portugese government is involved?

I mean it is not entirely a stupid thought. Could someone big in the Portugese gov’t be involved in shady adoption or child porn or selling children to sex ring operators. Maybe this could be why they are so relaxed it seems. Never hear about anything happening in Portugal. Darn people on YA seem to think Bush and Rudy bombed the WTC themselves for goodness sakes why not think that Portugese gov’t has some inside shady things going on involving children? Grasping at straws I know. I still think the parents are involved somehow but still all these little things in the back of my mind…to much Cold Case, Law and Order and Without a Trace I suppose.
Yes definately something missing and my little detective mind LOL keeps thinking of many things. Was just a though and as I said grasping at straws. Would just like to know what happened to this poor little girl so she can either be home or at least be put to rest.

And why do people act as if one missing girl is all the Portuguese police have to worry about? I doubt that this is the number one crime on their list. Like all countries, Portugal has murders, armed robberies and so on. You have to put this in perspective, something sadly lacking in this case and the McCann media circus.

Why on earth would the Portuguese government spend so much time and money on trying to solve this case if they were the ones who have something to do with it?!?! I very much doubt that they had anything to do with it. They are not the ones that left her alone, the ones that set up a fund to raise money and then travel around on a private jet spending the money of all the good-hearted people who have donated money.
